Siddharth fire speech teluguIt’s been nearly three years since Siddharth was seen in a straight Telugu. Although he was part of NTR’s Baadhshah, but he just played a cameo in it and it doesn’t count as his film. His last Telugu release being Love Failure, he has been away from the industry for long. Now, the actor is busy promoting his latest film Naalo Okkadu, a remake of his Tamil film Ennakul Oruvan. Talking at the film’s event, he asked himself some questions about his absence from the industry and subsequently gave answers to them.

He said that everybody has been asking why he has avoided Telugu industry which gave him maximum hits, fame and money. He said he didn’t get the support from directors to experiment in the and hence, shifted focus to Tamil where he was proud to do films such as Jigarthanda and Kaaviya Thalaivan. He added that he discovered a new version of himself in the last two years and has brought himself back to Telugu filmdom.

Siddharth also said he never considered himself a Tamil boy though he stays in Tamil land, but he had lived in Hyderabad for 7 years and even paid taxes. He feels happy to return as he feels there’s hope for him now to experiment. He said with directors like Trivikram willing to do family dramas, he thinks the time is right to come back. Next year, Siddharth announced he will be doing two straight Telugu films. It should be remembered that the same Siddharth a few years criticized Telugu industry for bad films and was banned. It looks like he’s being extra nice to earn the sympathy of Telugu audience.
