Various celebrities have come out and spoken in support of Kamal Haasan following the ban issue faced by his latest film Vishwaroopam. The latest in line is Southern actor Siddharth who believes that Haasan is being unfairly persecuted over the whole issue to the extent that he wishes to leave the country in order to find a more secular place to live in.
Siddharth posted a message on twitter which goes as, “Vishwaroopam screenings cancelled before starting and even stopped mid-show all over Tamil Nadu What a sad day. What a horrible week. Taliban Tamil Nadu. Heartbreaking to see the greatest Tamil actor of all time talking about leaving Tamil Nadu, about bankruptcy and about unfair persecution.”
Hero Nani also tweeted -TN Govt has hurt my religious sentiments because .. I’m an actor, acting is my religion and Kamal Hassan is my God .
