Lyricist Anantha Sriram is on cloud nine these days. He is a single-card lyric writer for the much-anticipated Mahesh Babu movie Sarkaru Vaari Paata.
In an exclusive interview with M9News, Anantha Sriram said that he is overwhelmed by the audience’s response he is getting for the songs in SVP. Especially for the Song Kalavathi, which crossed 159 Million views even before the movie’s release.
Sriram also said that the Penny song is Mahesh Babu’s favorite. He also mentioned that SVP’s story is very powerful, and he hasn’t heard such a script in the last 5 years, and he will never hear such a script again in the next 5 years. It is a perfect blend of message and entertainment.
Anantha Sriram also pointed out that there is no Item song in Sarkaru Vaari Paata. But the upcoming mass song will have lyrics that will give the kick of an item song.
Speaking about the controversy regarding Sid Sriram butchering lyrics while singing, he said that there’s no mistake in Sid Sriram’s pronunciation of words, and his rendition is flawless. He pointed out that he personally took care that Sid Sriram made no mistake.
Anantha Sriram cleared that may be due to technology, and the echoes, delays, resounds and revokes audience might have mistaken some words.
He added that the audience should change, keep their mind open, and be prepared for the changes in technology.
Anantha Sriram said that his upcoming projects include Megasta’s Godfather.
