Shruti Haasan, the actress who starred in the blockbuster ‘Gabbar Singh’, is once again in news but this time, it’s not because of her outstanding performance, it is because of her smart moves. She is reportedly being cast in a movie opposite the superstar, Ram Charan. After the success of ‘Gabbar Singh’, the actress was expected to demand a pay raise, but did exactly the opposite in producer Dil Raju’s film.
Samantha was the first choice of the producer, but she couldn’t make it due her busy schedule and Raju was forced to look for an urgent replacement.
It was reported that producer Dil Raju was unwilling to pay the high price that usually Shruti demands but she stands to gain immensely by working with Ram Charan and Shruti finally agreed for the pay cut.”
Although another source close to the actress stated that, “Shruti is not money minded and picks only good roles. The delay that happened during the agreement was only due to date adjustments and had nothing to do with the payment.”
