Daughter of reputed film actor Kamal Haasan, Shruti Haasan has made a mark on the film industry considering the number of movies in her belt despite not being in the industry for a very long time. Following the success of her recent Tollywood film Gabbar Singh where she appeared opposite Pawan Kalyan, her career graph has been off the charts and she has been flooded with numerous offers from all the different industries.
That being the case, when the director of Gabbar Singh, Harish Shankar, approached Shruti for appearing in his next film, the actress responded by saying that she has too much on her plate already. The director however tried to persuade her to change her mind saying that Shruti was his lucky charm and he would love her to be a part of the film. The film in question also features NTR Jr. and Samantha in the lead.
