Shruti Haasan, who is celebrating her 27th birthday today, has a very special connect with the team of Yevadu. Apparently, Shruti celebrated her last birthday on the sets of the film last year, and she celebrated this year’s birthday as well with the team of Yevadu, who are currently on a success tour.
2013 was not a very successful year for Shruti as three of her films D-Day, Ramayya Vasthavayya and Ramaiya Vastavaiya failed to rake in the moolah. Her only hit last year was Ravi Teja-starrer Balupu. But thankfully for her, 2014 started off with a bang as Yevadu turning out to be a blockbuster. Apparently, she hopes her success streak continues throughout the year as she has two big films “Race Gurram” and “Welcome Back’ getting ready for release.
Shruti is currently busy shooting for Krish’s Gabbar, Hindi remake of Tagore, with Akshay Kumar. The film is expected to hit the screens early 2015.
