Balakrishna will next be seen in #NBK107. Directed by Gopichadn Malineni, the film stars Shruti Haasan. This is the first time combination of the trio; while the filmmaker and Shruti Haasan have worked in the past (Balupu, Krack).
It may be recalled that many theories did rounds around the female lead before Shruti Haasan was finalised. It was reported that makers are having a tough time finding a suitable face as the female lead. And after many names, Shruti Haasan came on board.
It is said that due to the professional bond Gopichand Malineni and Shruti Haasan share, the former convinced her to come on board. Shruti Haasan is also the lucky charm for the filmmaker as two of his movies with her were blockbusters.
But do you know that the production house has given in to Shruti Haasan’s demand? The actress reportedly quoted a hefty amount to be part of NBK107. It is rumoured that she has been paid a whopping Rs 2 crores.
Speaking about the film, it is said that Balakrishna will be essaying a dual role. From showcasing massy Balayya to the one in a suave way, it is said to have a faction backdrop. The shoot is said to begin from January next year.
