Shriya wants roles outside her comfort zone
Shriya, who has been acting over for a decade, says that she’s still waiting for roles that would expect her to step out of her comfort zone and act. At 32, she says she doesn’t want to be typecast and wants to reinvent herself with every film she signs hereafter.

She says she usually spend 30-40 days of shooting for a film, which offers her hardly any scope for acting. But if it’s a challenging role she says she wouldn’t even spending even two months on a project. But she doesn’t spend too much on a project which hardly gives her scope to perform. She feels as an actor she should feel proud of doing a film and not do a film just for the heck of it.

Shriya is currently busy with the promotions of Manam. She says she feels extremely lucky to share screen space with legendary actor Nageswara Rao, who passed away recently
