It is what one could term irony. Varun Tej’s film Ghani was one of the first films to announce a release date. And now, the makers are left scratching heads to get a new one.
The reason is straightforward, and many know it already. It is Prabhas’s Radhe Shyam. The multilingual biggie is arriving on July 30th. It is the same date that Ghani has locked.
Since the announcement of Ghani, many films have come out with release dates. As of now, all the important viable release dates are locked. Such is the situation that the team of Ghani is left with no choice but to have a clash somewhere.
A newcomer Kiran Korrapati helms Ghani, and it is also the first time production (joint) venture of Allu Bobby. None seemed to have expected this predicament and were looking at comfortably arriving on July 30th. Now, they are in a fix.
The shooting of Ghani is currently happening as per the schedule. The movie will be ready on time. It needs to be seen if the date will get preponed, considering there is another Varun Tej movie, F3, in August itself. Moving back will ensure enough gap and also the first-mover advantage, in case the makers need it. Let’s see the decision taken finally.
