Over 60percent Telugu students not employable!Pearson, the largest education and publishing company head quartered in London had come up with a survey Pearson Voice of Teachers Survey 2015 which reveals shocking results about the lack of proper skills in students of Telugu states.

According to the survey, 61% students in Telangana and 64% in Andhra Pradesh are woefully short of communication skills and knowledge required for employability. The survey was conducted in 32 cities in AP and 15 cities in Telangana.

The survey also revealed that parents are also one of the reasons for this issue. Only 34% parents in Telangana and 29% in AP were involved in the overall development of students. Pearson suggest that industry-academia collaboration and revamp of courses is the need of hour to address the problem.
