Who is this Geetha Bhascker? She is the mother of ‘Pelli Choopulu’ director Tarun Bhascker. She auditioned for the role and got selected. Shekhar Kammula is particularly happy that he has got her for ‘Fidaa’ to essay the role of Sai Pallavi’s aunt. She looked natural and very homely.
This is Geetha Bhascker’s debut film and the director cum son, Tarun Bhascker is really very proud of her. His mother played a role in his short film’Anukokunda’ but he didn’t cast her in his debut movie. As Shekhar Kammula said, director Tarun must be regretting not casting his mother.
