If Mahesh Babu’s film records are keenly observed, he seems to have a penchant for acting opposite different actresses each time. This time, in a film directed by Krish, Prince Mahesh Babu gets to romance Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha. Official sources have confirmed Sonakshi as the female lead opposite the superstar. Although Director Krish is still planning to put finishing touches to the film’s script, the tentative name of the movie is Shivam and the film might go to sets in the middle of next year.

Sonakshi Sinha, who came across her fame working with Salman Khan on blockbuster Dabangg, is quite busy with her Hindi film commitments, although she agreed to work with the famous actor on this new project. Alternatively, Mahesh-Sukumar’s current film shoot is set to be concluded by the May of 2013 with the makers planning to release it in June. Shivam is thus expected to go to the floors from May next year.
