Shankar to Do a First of India with 2.0Right from the beginning, Shankar’s ‘2.0’ is being publicized as the most costliest movie ever made in Indian Cinema. The film is growing bigger and bigger by day. It is going to be released in countries where none of the Indian movies were released besides the traditional overseas markets.

Even distributors like Austria and Germany wanted to screen the Rajinikanth’s film in 300 screens, which is really huge by any standards. So, the film is going to be released in more than half-a-dozen foreign languages besides half-a-dozen Indian languages.

The film is growing bigger and the makers are increasing the expenditure. With an extra Rs. 50 crores added to the budget that would sum up to Rs. 400 crores. There would be no compromise on the VFX effects and the makers want to make it look grandiose. Singapore, China, Japan, Germany, Austria… there might be more additions to the list.
