Bollywood’s megastar Shah Rukh Khan is making his grand comeback after a gap of more than 4 years with YRF’s spy action thriller, Pathaan. The teaser of the film was released on the occasion of SRK’s birthday and it received extremely mixed reactions from netizens.
Especially the VFX works have come under extreme criticism. Despite having hundreds of crores of the budget at their disposal, Bollywood filmmakers are not able to deliver a quality product. Some of the shots in the teaser are so bad that it is embarrassing.
The teaser was around 1 minute long and if the makers can’t show good vfx scenes in those 60 seconds what will they show in a 2+ hour film? And then Bollywood brags about making world-class films.
Some low-budget films in Tollywood also showcase better VFX than in some of the shots shown in the teaser of Pathaan. Recently Adipurush’s teaser also received brickbats on social media.
After Brahmastra, Adipurush, and now Pathaan, it has become a norm that Bollywood is incapable of delivering a film with even half-decent VFX and CGI works.
