ShakeelaSenior actress Shakeela has co-produced a movie titled ‘Ladies Not Allowed’ and she had clearly stated that her movie was an adult comedy. Despite sending the movie for film certification twice, the CBFC rejected the movie without giving reasons alleged the actress along with her producers.

Expressing her anguish over the rejection of the CBFC, Shakeela alleged that the officials have been doing this intentionally and in turn increasing their cost of production. Twice, they had to pay the fees for sending her movie for certification.

Now, even if she wants to go to the tribunal, she needs to go to Delhi and also pay fees. This is going to be a financial blow on the small producers who might have taken money for interest to invest in their movie.

Shakeela pleaded that media help her question the CBFC for not certifying her movie, accordingly as it is an adult comedy. She even threatened that she has a recording that she would like to reveal but it is trying restraint for the mutual benefit.
