Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan, whose upcoming film ‘Chennai Express’ a south based movie is awaiting its release, is being rumored to have given director Rahul Dholakia an ‘in-principle nod’ so as to work on a Gujarati film. While there has been no information about any sort of formal agreement about the film, sources say that Khan will play the important role of a Gujarati don.

According to reports the actor will be working with Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar again after the ‘Don’ film series. Even though the project is still in its growing stages, director Dholakia and Khan have already had a few meetings about it and a chief portion of the movie will be shot in Gujarat itself. However it is heard that Shahrukh will not begin with the film until he has wrapped up Farah Khan’s upcoming ‘Happy New Year’
