Chiranjeevi_Balakrishna_Nagarjuna_VenkateshIt’s very rare in any industry that 80s stars are still going strong. Megastar Chiranjeevi, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Victory Venkatesh, and Nagarjuna belong to those rare league of actors who despite being in their 60s are still relevant as leading heroes. Let’s take a look at the lineup of these senior heroes this year.

Megastar Chiranjeevi is coming up with Bholaa Shankar. Megastar’s look was unveiled recently and he is looking in great form. Making wise also the makers are putting up their best to come up with a mega entertainer. But the remake factor and Meher Ramesh as a director are the biggest drawbacks for the film.

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s next in the direction of Anil Ravipudi is among the much-awaited films this year. Anil Raviudi’s brand value and Balakrishna’s recent form are contributing to its buzz. It is also reported that Balayya will speak in a Telangana accent which is also going to be one of the highlights of the film. It will be one of the hyped films before its release.

Akkineni Nagarjuna has had some terrible flops like The Ghost and Wild Dog in recent times. He is looking to make a strong comeback with his upcoming films which are going to be special as they will be his 99th and 100th films. 99th film is going to be in the direction of writer, Prasanna Kumar Bezawada, and his 100th film reportedly will be directed by Mohan Raja. There is no official announcements till now.

Victory Venkatesh is coming up with Saindhav in the direction of Sailesh Kolanu who has delivered the successful HIT franchise. A glimpse of the film was unveiled recently and it got a thunderous response from the audience and also critics. After a long time, Venkatesh will be seen in a massy role which has excited Daggubati fans.

If we consider the lineup, Balakrishna and Venkatesh have promising films up their sleeves. It is too early to comment on Nag’s lineup but Chiranjeevi’s Bholaa Shankar is facing some flak mainly due to the remake factor.
