Gopichand’s Seetimaarr is all set for a grand release on September 10th as Vinayaka Chaviti Special. It is the first mass movie releasing in the theaters after the COVID. The satellite and digital rights of the movie are bagged by Sun Network. That means the digital rights are with SunNXT.
Sun Network also shares the rights of some of its films with Netflix and JioCinema. We do not know about it now. Also, digital rights with SunNXT means the movie’s digital premiere will not happen soon as Gemini TV usually prioritizes its Television premiere.
Directed by Sampath Nandi, the movie is a mass entertainer in the backdrop of the Kabaddi game. Both Gopichand and Tamannah will be seen as Kabaddi coaches. Meanwhile, Seetimaarr faces an unusual competition. Nani’s Tuck Jagadish is releasing on the same day on Amazon Prime Video.
It is the first-ever face-off between theaters and OTT probably in the entire Indian Cinema.
