Police security at the house of Bollywood King Shah Rukh Khan has been beefed up after a threatening call was received by the actor’s staff today. A gangster allegedly called the office which was picked up by a staff member. He apparently threatened the actor from associating with the Morani brothers, one of whom is associated with the 2G scams. Karim Morani, the one accused in the scam is a business partner of Shah Rukh Khan.
This call coincided with the reports of fires around the Morani brother’s houses and hence the police immediately stepped up the security measures as soon as they came to know about the call. Incidentally it was only recently that the police have removed the security cover to the actor who was earlier perceived to be on hit list of LeT. Bollywood and its stars have a long history with mafia and this seems to be another such issues where the mafia is doing all it can to make a killing with a top stars movie that is going to release soon. Whenever they see a break in flow, they immediately resort to this kind of threatening.
