Search for Allu Arjun’s father begins!

Casting for Allu Arjun’s upcoming film in Trivikram Srinivas’s direction has been going on for ages. With multiple characters in script with good footage there were various names floating around from the time of announcement of the film. First it was about the three heroines, then about an aged pair involving well known names and now the makers are on lookout for Allu Arjun’s father in the film.

Names of Malayalam Superstar Mohan Lal and Tamil actor Sathyaraj are being considered for the part but the makers are yet to take a final call on the actor. With Allu Arjun’s rising popularity in Kerala Mohan Lal could be an ideal choice for the role but the Malayalam star has not done character roles in other South Indian languages. Also Upendra already being part of the film, if Mohan Lal too agrees to do the film, it will be a casting coup of sorts involving prominent names across all South Indian industries. Will this dream casting come true?
