Superstar Mahesh Babu‘s Birthday Special ‘Biggest Celebrity Twitter Spaces’ session has ended up as a massive disappointment. The first ever Twitter Spaces session in Tollywood is superb in concept but failed in execution.
The session has been attended by many celebrities who have worked with the Superstar. This has been the strength of the Spaces but also ended up as a liability at the end. So many celebrities means the length of the session has gone out of the limit.
It can be still made enjoyable if their statements are crisp and reveals something exciting which we never know but that did not happen. Fans were excited with Mahesh Babu Entering and leaving the Spaces.
Fans have patiently waited to see if their favorite hero will talk to them on the big day but it ended up as a big disappointment as only a recorded message of the Superstar is played. The statement should have been played by the host instead of raising unnecessary hopes for the fans.
Twitter Spaces and clubhouse sessions (similar model) are going to be integral part of film promotions going forward. Unfortunately the first major Spaces session of Tollywood became an example of how a session should not be hosted.
