This Saturday, 20th March happened to be one of the most happening days both in Tollywood and Kollywood. While Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Sardar Gabbar Singh’s audio was launched in Hyderabad, Vijay’s ‘Theri’s audio was launched in Chennai. Both the big events are very big in the respective film industries. But there is a difference.
The event of ‘Theri’ was well planned and the organizers saw to it that it concluded in 2 hours flat. But ‘Sardaar’ event continued upto 11 pm, which was certainly very late. This has become very common for big heroes events in Telugu Film Industry. No one seems to have hold on the proceedings. The problem begins with the late beginning of such events.
One more difference is the live telecast. The live telecast rights of big Telugu movies are given to channels for high prices and naturally those channels are hungry to record high TRPs. Hence the longer, the better for the channels to improve their TRPs. Normally, Tamil film events don’t have a live coverage. Will we ever see that perfect planning in TFI?
