The clear winner this Sankranthi is Anil Ravipudi’s joy ride ‘F2: fun & Frustration’. The director made four films and all the four have been decent hits at the box-office. The director is in festival mood and hence, off to his native place to celebrate both his success and also the festival and come back after a couple of months.
So, what about his next? The director has clear plans about his next and says that it’s not going to be a full-length comedy movie like F2. There would be an underlying comedy, though. Anil Ravipudi narrated a line for Venkatesh and he liked it. It would take time to develop the line and go back to Venkatesh for the final narration. He also told a storyline for Balakrishna and waiting for it.
As we had discussed earlier, Anil Ravipudi is adept at telling the routine mass stories in a different and entertaining way. That brings the freshness to the predictable routine mass stories.
