It may be the Nayak and SVSC all the way in Andhra Pradesh for this Sankranthi season but things are not so rosy for the movies in our neighboring state, Karnataka. There are 6 more releases from Hindi, Tamil and Kannada languages for Sankranthi season which are making life miserable for the distributors of Nayak and SVSC in acquiring theaters. Off late, with the restrictions lifted on other language movies, Karnataka had become a major territory in Telugu film trade. And we will have to look what will be the dent in collections due to this scenario there.
As of now, Ram Charan’s Nayak is releasing on January 9th and Venkatesh – Mahesh Babu’s multistarer movie Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu is gearing up for release on January 11t
