Sanjay Dutt, who is currently doing his time in jail after he surrendered before the TADA court on May 16 was visited two days later by his wife Manyata and sister Priya in the Arthur Road jail. Both of them were reassured after seeing that Sanjay had been shifted from the cell that previously housed terrorist Ajaml Kasab. Sanjay’s lawyer had orally appealed for the transfer before the TADA court after the actor had been situated in the egg shaped cell. Reportedly, Sanjay had felt suffocated leading to his applying for a change of cell.
Meanwhile, there have been some allowances arranged for by the court which includes home cooked food, medicines, a pillow and a mattress of his choice among other petty goods.
