Not many people would debate the fact that Sandeep Reddy Vanga is one of the dynamic filmmakers in Indian cinema now. Both his films Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh were box office blockbusters.
Sandeep is now working on Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal which is in early stages of production. Here’s what Ranbir had to say about Animal.
“I shot for some portion of Sandeep’s Animal. I have to say I am very much excited about this film. It is way out of my comfort zone. I am scared and excited all at the same time. Sandeep’s script is vibrant,” Ranbir said.
The fact that a superstar like Ranbir is saying he is scared of Sandeep’s script implies that the latter has come up with another hard-hitting subject.
This news should also excite Prabhas’s fans as the macho hero will be working with Sandeep for his next, Spirit. One of the major complaints about Prabhas’s recent films is the lack of proper hero characterisation.
Sandeep has shown that he has the knack of penning strong protagonist characterisation and add Ranbir’s comment on Animal to the equation, Prabhas’s film with Sandeep should be no different.
