Sandeep Reddy Vanga is coming up with Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna. The film is touted to be one of the most violent films produced in India. The film is slated for an August 11 release to cash in on the Independence Day holiday week.
‘Animal’ is going to clash with some of the biggest stars and films on that day. Sunny Deol is trying to make a comeback with Gadar 2, the sequel to one of the biggest hits of India ever. The Kashmir Files fame Vivek Agnihotri is also eyeing the same date for his much-awaited Vaccine War.
Down South, the competition is going to be even more fierce. Rajinikanth’s Jailer, Megastar’s Bholaa Shankar, Maaveeran, and Tillu Square are also releasing around the same date. There are also reports that Shah Rukh Khan’s next Jawan has also been postponed to August, and August 11 is one of the dates the makers are trying to lock.
There were rumors going on that Animal will back out and change its release date. But then came the confirmation last evening that Animal is arriving on August 11, no matter what.
