‘Once Bitten, Twice Shy’ is a famous idiom in the English language. But, this doesn’t seem to be applicable for the Telugu Film Industry. Recently, ‘Agnyaathavaasi’ faced a lot of criticism and was shamed by Jerome Salle, who was the director of the original French film ‘Largo Winch’.
Now, as per a report in DC one more film is said to be a freemake of a popular Hollywood film, ‘Notting Hill’ starring Julia Roberts in the lead. The striking similarities one can identify in the recently released trailer of ‘Sammohanam’ will make one believe that it could be a possible freemake.
But then, Sudheer Babu who is playing the protagonist says that it’s Mohana Krishna Indraganti’s story inspired from a true incident. However, we can’t be sure until the film comes to theatres. As of now, the trailer content may instigate the makers of ‘Notting Hill’ like it happened in the case of ‘Agnyaathavaasi’. One never knows! Let’s see.
