Akhanda Pushpa similaritiesTollywood’s big-ticket films, Akhanda and Pushpa have become hits and made the stars of the film quite happy. Balayya needed a hit to make a comeback and he got one thanks to Boyapati Sreenu’s powerful way of showcasing him like never before.

Coming to Allu Arjun, Pushpa gave him that Pan-India image that he was waiting for a long time. Both these films have proved that if the star hero is showcased well, the audience will lap up the film despite the Covid scare.

If you watch closely, both Pushpa and Akhanda are quite similar to each other. Apart from having big stars as the main leads, the films pleased the B and C center audience in a big way. While Akhanda is still making money in the small towns of Telugu states, Pushpa has cashed on OTT trend and already streaming.

Also, one more aspect which gave the film a big push was the music. The songs of Akhanda and Pushpa were good hits and brought the audience back to the theaters to enjoy the song and dance routine on the big screen after a long time.

The drawbacks of the film are also the same. Both Pushpa and Akhanda have a plain storyline and no proper twists that will shock the audience. They were simple stories narrated in a simple way.

Both the films had dull second half. Except for Balayya’s strong performance as Aghora and Bunny’s rise as Pushpa in the second halves, the rest of the story was dull.

The same story is for the climax as well. Pushpa is ended with a basic scene and disappointed the fans with its climax. The same happened with Akhanda as nothing emotional happens as Balayya goes back to Kasi.

The heroes are the ones who held things together and with their powerful performances, the film caught the attention of many. If not for this, both Akhanda and Pushpa did not have major highs as well.
