Well-known Tollywood actress Samantha, who is riding high with the stupendous success of ‘Manam’, seems to have two close releases upcoming in August. Suriya-Samantha’s bi-lignual film ‘Anjaan’, buzzed to be titled ‘Sikandar’ for its Telugu version, will hit the screens on 15th August. The director of the film, Linguswamy, confirmed that the shooting for ‘Anjaan’ is complete except for one song which will be filmed in Goa from 8th June. According to the sources, the first teaser which sets the tone for the film is getting ready now and the music launch will be held in July.
‘Rabhasa’, the second film starring Samantha also features NTR Jr., and Pranitha in the lead roles. The film will be released later in the year on August 14th keeping the Independence Day in mind. If the makers stick to this date and both films manage to get some decent talk, Samantha will once again attract the eyeballs in both Telugu and Tamil at about the same time in August.
