Allu Arjun’s maiden pan-India Pushpa despite having mixed reviews is doing phenomenally well at the ticket window. Apart from Allu Arjun’s performance, Samantha’s item song, ‘Oo Antava..Oo Oo Antava’ has left movie buffs in a frenzy mode.
Samantha’s item song, in fact, made news prior release and now post release. Initially, a case was filed against the men’s association. And now BJP MLA Raja Singh has swung into action over music composer Devi Sri Prasad.
DSP at a press meet spoke about how the ‘Oo Antava..Oo Oo Antava’ tune was used for a devotional song by noted devotional singer, Shobha Raju. “I was shown her video of singing the devotional lyrics into Oo Antava..Oo Oo Antava tune which left me spellbound. I have great and immense respect for her and her using this tune has left me overwhelmed,” said DSP at a press meet.
The video of DSP’s speech is widely circulated. However, these comments have left BJP MLA infuriated. The politician has filed a case against DSP who demanded an apology for hurting the sentiments of Hindu community stating that item song and devotional song cannot be the same.
