Vijay Deverakonda pinned a lot of hopes on Liger and the film turned out to be a disaster in terms of box office returns. The talented hero is now in the mood to resume Kushi at the earliest in order to come out of the Liger debacle and hopefully end 2023 on a high with Kushi.
The film is announced for release on the 23rd of December and for that to happen, the shoot should be resumed real soon. But there is a complication here.
While Vijay is raring to get back to work for Kushi, the female lead, Samantha isn’t entirely cooperating with the same. Supposedly due to Sam’s alleged health complications, she is unable to allot dates to Kushi. This is the reason why the shoot is getting delayed beyond comfort and this became a new problem for Vijay after the Liger disaster.
Vijay is currently in Kashmir, shooting NDTV’s Jai Jawaan program and he intends to resume Kushi at the earliest.
The latest we hear is that Samantha is finally set to turn available again, albeit after a lengthy layoff, and if everything goes as planned, Kushi’s forthcoming schedule could be commencing in the first week of November.
