After facing tough time with her health and forgoing several prestigious projects, luck seem to be favouring her. She is the first choice heroine down the South and her hard work paid off in the form of two Filmfare awards – Best Actress (Telugu) for Eega and Best Actress (Tamil) for Neethaane En Ponvasantham.
Samantha seem to be still grounded. After receiving the awards, she tweeted, “All motivated and charged up…. Bring it on… Gonna work as hard as I can… Thanku to the ppl who thought I deserved it”. She even have some good words for her distractors, she added, “And I ll work harder and harder next time to the ppl who thought I don’t deserve it..”
