Samantha Ruth Prabhu visited the Pazhani (Palani) Murugan temple on Monday. She lit camphor on each of the 600 steps of the temple.
Some pics and videos of Samantha visiting the temple and doing pooja are circulating on the internet. Despite her health issues, Samantha walked the steep path and had the darshan of Lord Murugan Swamy after lighting camphor on all 600 steps.
Samantha was accompanied by friends and director Prem Kumar (Jaanu fame). Speaking to the media, Samantha said that she had come to take the blessings of the Murugan Swamy. She suffered a lot of health issues in the last few months. So she prayed to Murugan Swamy for her good health. She came to the temple after taking advice from her doctors.
Looks like Samantha is slowly shifting gears toward spirituality and devotion after suffering health and personal issues in her life.
