Samantha is on a roll who is on full throttle with her second innings post divorce. After making headlines with her special dance number, the actress is picking up diverse roles and her upcoming next Yashoda is one among them.
The pan-India flick will see Samantha for the first time portraying a nurse. The actress dubs the role as challenging and interesting. The first schedule which was shot in Kerala has come to a closure.
Directed by Hari and Harish, Yashoda is a women centric film. The team has planned the shooting schedule meticulously and are aiming to complete the final schedule by next month. While the makers are yet to announce the release date, it is rumoured that they are aiming for Summer 2022.
Apart from the above flick, Samantha has many films in her kitty. After announcing an international flick, she is yet again teaming up with Raj and DK for a web series. Meanwhile, she is yet to announce her Bollywood project.
