Samantha Akkineni is in a purple patch as her professional career is on high. Being the A-list actress down South, it is a tendency for actresses to sign on the dotted lines sticking to the adage ‘make hay while the sun shines’.
Samantha however differs from the dictum as she has taken a conscious decision to opt for a long break. Yes, you have read it right. The actress feels it is time to be laidback, relax and have some ‘me time’, ‘family time’.Samantha has taken a conscious decision to take break from films.
The diva has been on her toes and part of the tinsel town for the past 11 years. Now that she has achieved in her professional, she has chosen to go on sabbatical break.
Samantha recently wrapped up the shoot of Gunasekhar’s ambitious mythological project – Shakuntalam. In Kollywood, she is working on Vignesh Shivan’s Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal. After wrapping up, Samantha will not be taking up any more projects.
While Samatha’s break is much needed considering the jam-packed schedule she had all this while, but it will certainly be a disappointment for her fans who have to wait again to catch her glimpse on silver screen.
