‘Zombie Reddy’ is the first of its kind zombie film in the Telugu Film Industry, in fact in the country helmed by ‘Awe’ fame director Prashanth Varma. The director is very confident that the audiences will love his film.
Though there are no A-listers in the movie featuring Teja Sajja (child artist turned hero) as the main lead, the producer of the movie spent as per the requirement and gave it a look that it’s not a small film. There were many doubts about how would a zombie script translate on the big screen.
The director first pitched the idea to Samantha a couple of years ago who liked the script but wondered how that would translate on the screen. However,that was a different idea for a zombie film.
Finally, the director made the movie as a satire and also including the present coronavirus concept for the connectivity. Dressing up his characters as zombies has been a lot of hard work for the team and
