The film observers had been curious about the husband-wife face-off for the past couple of days before ‘Shailaja Reddy Alludu’ and ‘U Turn‘ came to the theatres. The clash was interesting with a lot of speculations and guessing who would be the winner in this unique clash.
The two movies are out and the happiest person here is Samantha. Though Maruthi’s movie looked very promising before the release, it failed to impress not only the critics but also the audiences. We know that ‘Shailaja Reddy Alludu‘ dominated pre-release over ‘U Turn’ and hence, looked like a sure shot bet coming for the festival weekend.
Still, there is time and it is too early to pass judgements about the winner at the box office. ‘U Turn’ was targeted at a section of audiences for its genre and the target is accomplished. This is a faithful remake of the Kannada version and Samantha has delivered what is expected from her. Going by the early reaction from the audiences and the critics, it’s complete domination of Samantha over Chay when it come to the positive talk and critic ratings.
