A Bollywood portal wrote that Samantha was replaced with Aditi Rao Hydari in an upcoming movie titled ‘Maha Samudram’ opposite Sharwanand because of the fate of her latest movie ‘Jaanu‘, the official remake of ’96’ movie.
The movie might not have worked commercially. Nevertheless, Samantha didn’t fail as an actress and she gave her 100% for the role. One must remember that there was a big doubt about the remake ever since Dil Raju announced it.
So, Sam couldn’t be blamed for the commercial failure of the film as the fate of the movie was already written all over it before Dil Raju conceptualised remaking a classic in Telugu.
Aditi Rao Hydari gave back to the media portal saying that one can’t take away the credibility of an actor depending on the hit status or flop. True. Samantha is not to be blamed for ‘Jaanu’. There are several factors that led to the failure.
She also condemned someone making announcement about her in ‘Mahasamudram’. She felt that the announcement must come from the makers of the movie.
