Ghajini fame Suriya’s brother Karthi’s Shakuni is being released simultaneously releasing in Telugu and Tamil today. The movie (Saguni) is releasing in 1150 screens in Tamil Nadu. This is the second biggest release for a Tamil movie after Rajinikanth’s Endhiran (Robo). Endhiran was then released in 2050 screens. Kathi had become house hold name in Telugu being brother of Suriya and with his earlier movies doing good. He is currently holding good market here and as a result, the Telugu version Shakuni is releasing in more than 300 screens, the biggest release for a dubbing movie in recent times.

4. Presence of good star cast like Radhika, Roja, Prakash Raj, Kota Srinivasa Rao and others

BO Prediction:
It is a honest attempt by Karthi but the director let him down. The movie is a complex political drama and people usually connects to stories where Zero becomes hero but this movie lacks the feel required for such movies to connect with the audience. However, some of the scenes in the second half connect to our current AP politics, people who are aware of political situation in the state might connect to it.
Going by early trends, the movie might remain as an average stuff.
