Not all the time success is a first and foremost necessity for a hero or heroine. There are occasionally times when the person behind the movie needs it the most than the lead. Of course, when the director succeeds others also bask in the glory. Earlier in the year, we had a similar situation with Aavindha Sametha, and now the same is the case with Padi Padi Leche Manasu.
The love story stars Sharwanand and Sai Pallavi in the lead. They are doing more than alright career-wise and have many more movies to look forward. However, the director Hanu Raghavapudi is under a lot of pressure to deliver. Hanu arrived on the scene with promise and hype of the next big thing in making. Unfortunately, that prediction has not come to fruition until now, what’s even worse his track record with no outright hit movie and more disasters than successes.
Sooner or later, the lack of success catches up, and the projects dry up. It is the reason why Padi Padi Leche Manasu’s success is very critical for Hanu Raghavapudi. If he delivers, then obviously it will be a plus for Sharwanand and Sai Pallavi too.
Padi Padi Leche Manasu is coming to cinemas on December 21st. The response to the audio and trailer has been positive. Let’s see if that translates into footfalls in theatres and makes the love story a hit or not.
