The sad demise of Australian left-hand batsman 25 years old Phillip Hughes left the whole cricket world in a state of shock. The pain the cricket fraternity is undergoing for his untimely death is unexplainable. His accident is one of the gravest tragedy the game has ever seen. Can anyone even think that the game which had been his love would be the cause of his death!
Cricketers across the world are paying homage to the departed soul and paying their respects in many forms implicitly showing how pained they are for what had happpened. Many cricketers gave a call through a twitter programme ‘Put your Bats Out’ and pay homage to Hughes by putting their bats in front of their homes.
Sachin Tendulkar, the cricket god also put his bat which he used when he was 25 years old, outside his bungalow to pay homage to the departed Australian cricketer. He posted this picture on twitter and expressed his heart felt condolences. Many cricketers around the world are doing the same to show that they all are one and fraternity.
