The Telugu theatrical trailer of Vikram starrer Saamy is out. It has everything that we expect from director Hari movie, and it’s overdone.
The instant feeling is that it is deafening. The roars are felt literally. The action is over the top and Vikram is acting borderline obnoxiously. If it still manages to evoke interest, it is because of the hope of an engaging plot and the usual raciness of director Hari. Bobby Simha’s character and plot could be the make or break deal here. Did we add it could also be called Singham 4? Only the hero seems to be changed here. Devi Sri Prasad’s music is alright, but the background score feels like a rehash of old works.
Check out the trailer below. Vikram and Keerthy Suresh are paired opposite each other in the movie. The Tamil original is said to be arriving on September 20th; we have to see if Telugu also releases on the same day as the date is not yet made official.
