Vishal’s Saamanyudu has locked OTT release date. The revenge action drama is arriving on Zee5 on March 4. The film is the Telugu dubbed version of Tamil film, Veeramae Vaagai Soodum that was released on February 4.
Directed by Thu.Pa.Saravanan, Dimple Hayathi is the female lead. The action drama showcases Vishal in a cop avatar who fights for justice against the goons. The film stresses how the protagonist is not an ordinary common man, but continues to take a stand for the right.
Saamanyudu however didnlt impress the Telugu audience back home. The film has been a regular revenge drama which has nothing to offer new to the audience. Having said that, films have been received differently on OTT platforms, so how Saamanyudu is received by the OTT audience is to be seen.
Speaking about Zee5, the OTT platform has been in the race bagging some of the notable projects. The digital streaming rights of RRR, Radhe Shyam are bagged by Zee Group.
