We are into the final few days leading up to the release of Rebel Star Prabhas’s Saaho. The advance booking across the nation and internationally too is open. Here is how the momentum is so far and what can be expected in the next couple of days.
The bookings for the Telugu version in the Telugu states are phenomenal. It is extraordinary and on par or next only to the mighty Baahubali 2. The ‘A’ centers, especially Hyderabad, is on fire with practically everything sold out.
The Telugu version also has good bookings in Karnataka, in the US, and the rest of the world, as well. The US is a little low than expected, but that is due to a technical issue.
The most anticipated Hindi version of Saaho is off to a weak start. The bookings have been open late than usual, and it could be a major reason for the slow start. We have to wait and see if there is a jump in tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. The expectations from Saaho in Hindi are huge among the fans. The trade is also keenly observing what is in store here as it would determine the future course of the ultra-big Telugu biggies.
Coming to the other versions of Saaho in India, Tamil and Malayalam – the former is alright, but the latter is very low at the moment.
In the US, Hindi and Tamil versions are disastrously low. It is in single digits. The high prices are blamed for this situation, and a lot depends on the talk the movie gets.
Overall, apart from the Telugu version in the Telugu states, all other territories have to jump significantly in the coming two days. There is a difference of day and night between them, right now.
