The Regional Censor Board in Hyderabad had a busy day today. The board members had censored two movies – NTR’s Ramayya Vasthavayya and Manchu Vishnu’s Dooskeltha today. Doosukeltha received U/A certificate and will be releasing on October 17th. And on the other side, Ramayya VAsthavayya was awarded ‘A’ certificate. There was a big argument between the board and Ramayya Vasthavayya unit.

The unit requested for U/A certificate but could not agree up on the cuts suggested by the Censor board. So, they finally opted for ‘A’ certificate with no cuts. The movie will be hitting the screens on October 11th worldwide and premieres on 10th in USA.

Harish Shankar says most industry hits have been awarded with ‘A’ certificate from censor board and he hopes Ramayya VAsthavayya will have the same fate and he recalls his blockbustar film ‘Gabbar Singh’ also released on 11th of May.
