SS Rajamouli‘s magnum opus film, RRR is gearing up for release on January 7th, 2022. The US Premieres will happen on January 6th. A massive release is planned across the United States like never before for a film from Indian Cinema.
The movie is going to release in 999 theatres and in more than 3000 screens in the USA (all languages together). Meanwhile, the distributors have started aggressively promoting the film. An advertisement of the movie and the US Premieres have been put up at Times Square, New York.
Times Square is the most prestigious Advertising Space in the country. The Thanks Giving week is happening in the U.S. and advertisement rates will be the highest in this season but still, the distributors have decided to go for it since the season is best to reach out to as many people as possible. Many other exciting promotions are being planned in the coming days.
It is quite common that distributors do not promote a film having big stars and tremendous hype. But RRR distributors are not in a mood to depend on the natural hype and are aggressively promoting the movie. Meanwhile, the advance bookings of the film in the U.S. will begin in the first week of December. That is one month before the movie’s release.
