RRR is setting the USA box office on fire. The film is pulling the USA audience to theatres in big numbers, something that many other mainstream Indian films have been struggling to do since the onset of Covid.
RRR made a sensational $5.3 million from the premieres and opening day. The film held the momentum exceedingly well on the second day also. The reported gross on Saturday is $2.2 million, as of now. The final number might be bigger.
RRR has already collected a handsome $7.5 million in the USA market and as per early estimates, it is expected to mint well over $9 million in the first weekend itself. To put that into perspective, RRR’s 2nd-day collections alone might be in the range of full run collections of Bheemla Nayak and well over the final tally of Radhe Shyam.
The Telugu audience in the USA have been eagerly waiting for a big event and RRR offered them just that. The stellar response the film is garnering at the box office proves the same.
