Things are suddenly looking bleak for Pan-India Biggies – RRR and Radhe Shyam. Rajamouli and his team are aggressively promoting the film in Mumbai. Prabhas is also likely to swing into action later this week. At this stage, conditions have suddenly changed in the North markets.
Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana have imposed the Night Curfews. Gujarat Government had increased the timings of the Night Curfew. Even though some of these states are giving relaxation to theaters. We never know what happens by January 7th.
There will be operational challenges as well implementing the exceptions. Moreover when the trend of Night Curfews and other COVID restrictions start, sooner or later other states will naturally pick them up. We have YS Jagan Mohan Reddy Government in AP always eager to trouble the film industry.
RRR and Radhe Shyam have been in production for a long time. Also, RRR team has spent considerable amount and time on promotions. It is very difficult going back from here. So, things are going to be extremely tough for Rajamouli.
