RRR has been nominated in two categories at the Golden Globe Awards to be held on 11th January 2023. It has been nominated for Best Picture: Non-English language and Best Original Song Naatu Naatu. Winning an award here will make the RRR’s journey to the Oscars less tough.
The voting for the Oscar Nominations will start on Thursday, January 12, 2023, and will end on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. If RRR gets a nomination or two, it will create history for Indian Cinema.
February 17 and 24 are also crucial as RRR will contest for the Hollywood Critics Association Creative Arts Awards (HCA) which is also prestigious.
And finally, 12 March 2023, the date on which Oscar Awards will take place. If RRR gets nominated for the Academy Awards, then all eyes in India will be glued to this award show. On this date, SS Rajamouli can create a history that no other filmmaker in India could achieve.
